The accordeon orchestra played at Čurda, and the teacher put us in her renault 10 (the big one with engine in the back), perhaps there was another car. I was stuck with Oli Boj in the back, and there was no room for the spare wheel in the trunk, it being full of accordeons.
A couple of weeks ago dad came to pick me up from school, and in the fića there were two more places - so we picked Oli Boj and the other girl from the photo sekcija, and dropped them off their end of ruža. She seemed kind of excited when leaving, or it just seemed so to me.
I was thinking of learning to drive, but until 1973. I can't go into public traffic, and out of it it's all holes and mud. True, there are some in the traffic as well, but there you can manage to avoid them. I.e. the sidestreets weren't paved yet (won't be for another 15 years).
The next day I stayed longer at school, extra training for the math competition. Borče, Vladimira (always in a neighboring class). Suddenly, Tejka and Duca appear, somewhat drunk (beer, I'd say), with easter eggs in their pockets. Then Tejka breaks an egg on Duca's head. Then she takes my bag, rummages for the compass, throws me the bag and takes the compass' needle to carve her name on a wall. Then she tries to poke me with it. I manage to wrestle it out of her hands and then we all split. I say to M that "Tejka isn't normal even when she's sober, even less when she's loaded".
Turns out the two of them shared one beer. Seems the drunkenness was mostly faked, or taken as excuse for acting a bit crazy.
