Professor of chemistry in gimnazija. The young jerk of his generation, mostly prepotent (as was the favorite expression of the times), self-assured and with sunny disposition, he once confessed he took acting classes. We got the clue - we seem to have been too smart for him and he was mostly scared we'd expose him for what he was. We mostly let him be, but he was never taken seriously and was the target of many jokes.
He insisted of using a middle letter, which is not customary here - perhaps in case of someone becoming famous and there already being a famous person with same name and surname, the younger one would start using the middle letter (as per father's name, we don't do middle names here) just to be different. His pretense was based on a couple of british chemists who did so, from which he concluded it's a tradition with chemists. Yeah right, how yes no. Except their middle initial is from middle name, not father.
He was mostly known by his TLA, and we had several translations of that into words, some of which were "characterless person", "guy without dick"" etc.
He eventually left teaching and wormed up his way into the province institutions in Novi. The last I know was a position of information/informatics secretary in province's ministry of education, which he used to make a sweet deal with his son's company (probably not private yet, those didn't exist until like 1988 or later) to import a bunch of some no-name 8-bit computers. Saw a couple, they were much worse than the average; most of the stuff on them didn't quite work.
