The modest feast after a funeral. Not necessarily everyone who went to the funeral goes to daća afterwards; this is for the closer friends, neighbors and relatives. It used to be done at home, pretty much like a wedding but without music and in somber atmosphere. Nowadays there aren't so many people around the house and the neighborhoods have gotten older, so with fewer able hands and not as much space (specially the apartments in a novogradnja) going to a restaurant is kind of easier on everybody.
There's also a svinjska (pig/pork) daća, done in early winter in villages, when the pigs were slaughtered and hams hung to dry, sausages filled and hung to smoke. There's lot of work, so neighbors would lend a hand and when done there would be a big lunch for everyone involved.
