The sixth day daća for Silvija and the annual for Arpi... too bad when you can put those two together, worse when it's a father and daughter.
We were a bit early, but having started just ten minutes ahead of scheduled time we thought we were late. Arriving at the chapel we saw noone we knew, so we went straight to the graves... and then waited there some fifteen minutes for others to appear.
Took a few pictures using my old nokla ("new" one still waiting for me to find the patience to burn a proper language pack into it... hacking a 9 year old Symbian where tools were written for XP and won't run on W7, too new...) while we were waiting at the graves. Just the landscape.
The daća was smaller, in Bečkerek - the guests who made an average of 250km to attend the funeral were absent today, so we occupied just two short rows of tables in the smaller hall in the rear.
The merry widow came with her new guy again. Being locals, we were the first to arrive and park (at the Fabrika station across, as the parking was chock full, there were two more, much larger, such parties in the two bigger halls). So we found ourselves places in the corner of the first table and ended up in the company of Silvija's friends mostly, while family, with the merry widow at almost the main seat, with her boyfriend, were at the other. The better, they have to sit with her, we don't. Our paths didn't cross this time either, also the better. Not that I'd say anything in bad manner, but I'd rather spare myself the effort of finding the way to say the same in a polite manner.
