One of the pretty much founding members of DC-99 - if not from day one, then from within a month. His dad's place was two doors from the club, and his mom's (where he lived) was in Lesnina.
He's about the only guy from the club to become a professional movie maker - graduated editing and made a career. Seen his name among the credits many times. Haven't seen him for decades, but heard from him, through Pasa - her husband is his old pal. Another pal of his was the brother of the pretty V. from VIII2.
His father was an interesting guy, a construction engineer, not the best, he designed the sewers for a factory around here so well that they never quite recovered from it. Having divorced early, he went for bachelor's life, and turned his part of that house into a true bachelor's crate. He had a big old radio, vacuum tube stereo, must have cost a whole fortune when it was new, but I never heard how it sounded. He had one big room, which he slowly turned into a combination studio, party room and probably a fuckodrome as well. We dropped by once while it was still in the works. The ceiling was very dark blue, with various celestial bodies on it, probably a map of the northern sky, or maybe it was just random, a decoration. A month later we heard that he fell off the ladder while glueing one more star on it, broke his heel.
