The hardware guy in DBA. Kečiga (carp) is the nickname he earned while angling in a boat on Tisa, „it had at least 5,5 kilos, it bent the net's handle“. Good natured, good to drink with.
By 1993. when the worst of the inflation was on, his wife let us (and few select others) buy some winter footware on checks which won't be cashed until the shop officially reopens, a week later. By then, any amount was negligible.
