This is the date on "Poet and the peasant" mp3 file by Beggar's Opera, so I figure I downloaded then or thereabouts, along with a few others by them. The tool of the time was, IIRC, Napster - the original one, when file sharing was in its diapers. The time is 10:51, so this was downloaded from the job (of course, Zero had double DSL or stronger, and we had dial-up at home; Ted fried a CD for me later. Don't know whether he made any copies for himself, being roughly my age...).
On sheer coincidence, someone noticed me downloading it, and invited me into a chat, asking me how I liked the band. Two sentences later, I learn the guy (probably the same one who shared the song, or else how did he know I was downloading) was the son of the band's singer.
Small world, indeed.
In the office the meeting of monday was adjourned from 10 to 13:30 (aka 1:30, of course) this thursday, as nobody was quite ready at the time.
Carp from DBA sent a belated birthday greeting to Go and me.
Pali should come on 2nd of october, with one more of the guys.
