The narrow part of a ham, down to the knuckle joint, but not including it. It is sold as salted and somewhat smoked. Can be sliced for a sandwich, or (better) boiled into beans, cabbage or other similar dish. Another good way is just boiled with some potatoes, and some grated horseradish on the side. They do it quite well in pivnica, although the horseradish is aired so it doesn't bite.
