In the afternoon we split duties. I took the beans with butkice to dad, and she went to her mom. However, Mića called that he'd be free in a couple of hours and maybe he'd be able to take a look at the trouble we got in Klincaid... and so I made a real triper and after a couple of phone calls from dad's place, drove to Oma's, then called Mića to find out where he was. We put her bike into the trunk (one of the old, worn out bungees sufficed to keep the fifth door sort of closed), and went just two blocks away to pick the guy, and drove off.
He didn't bring any tools, because I promised I got everything, including a digital gauge. And it panned out, he did find out where the fault was. The old pump, when it burned the coil, fried the security switch, the regular switch, the fuse and the master fuse. He replaced everything and by the end of the day, when it was getting rather dark, we had running water in the house.
