Another annual parastos of IV_5pp at our place in Klincaid. We two did most of the shopping the day before - and opened one of the two boxes of the original Budweis beer from Češke Buđejovice - so today I bought an extra box, just in case. We also transported the big barbecue, and I mowed the grounds, everything ready.

This morning I just bought the kulen, smoked neck and the mix for ćevapčići. Expected to be late, because at 9:25 I was still waiting at Roda to be served (and them being a Walmart style gray box, to wait at the register) but somehow made it to open the gate at 10:09... and of course nobody came before 10:30. And actually only two cars - Jasmina with Dragana and Mjedac, then Bajlo with Žara, Čombe. Staša came much later.

Didn't take out the milfovača, because as I was counting the bottles in the fridge, everyone made their choice, and when I mentioned breskovača (peach rakija) that was it, everyone had to try that. The day went as usual. Quite hot, 36C at least, so we didn't sit outside, but also didn't go up front to the main house, as it wasn't cleaned since the last time - sat in the kitchen. With just seven of us, wasn't too crowded. I got most praise not so much for the rakija, food or accomodations - these were kind of standard and expected - but for the choice of music. As always, I brought the gugolj and the old speakers, and had the exactly same music as two years ago.

Staša and I stayed an hour longer, just sipping milfovača and reminiscing our parallel carreers.
