The oldest rakija I ever tasted. Got two liters from Boća back in 2014. We drank that when Stinge moved into his new apartment.
Some uncle of Boća's was digging foundations for a house and hit wood at some depth, while digging for foundations and perhaps basement. They struck wood at some uncanny depth. They started digging around it and found it's a barrel of brandy. Then they asked around, looking for any clue as to who could have put it there. The probable story is that there was another house nearby, and then in 1941. the war began. So what does a decent serbian man of the house do first when he hears the Germans are coming? Dig in the brandy so it doesn't fall into their hands.. The family and the house perished in the war, and nobody knew about the brandy until it was accidentally dug out.
The name is derived by attaching one of the typical suffixes (-ovača, the -ovica being less frequent) to the MILF acronym, which is used just as the age signifier here.
It's brown, almost like chocolate, and not transparent at all. Tastes smooth, not the best brandy in the world but well above decent, and the wood gave it something you can't get otherwise. Still, it's more for the story and the special feeling that you're drinking something older than yourself.
