The date is approximate, as I didn't really write this down, just found the pictures and remembered the stories behind them.
Two series of pictures in the yard. One was with Tejka, who still kept dropping by. Our house was the safest place where she could smoke freely and have a chat, and it's still within ten minutes' walk from home.
Don't know whose idea the series was, perhaps mom's or hers. I didn't mind, this is now harmless.
The other was the girl who held maths lessons to dad. She was coming on an off since early spring, as dad's math was seriously outdated and he had trouble with the exam. So she'd appear a few times before each exam term, i.e. april, june, september. He eventually passed and we never saw her again, but while it lasted she became some kind of a house friend*. My parents did have that knack of adopting younger friends, to the point when my (and later our) friends became their friends too, sometimes even more theirs than ours.
But this series sounded fishy to me, I guess that mom had some ideas about it, first just parading this gorgeously built chick in front of my nose, then taking these pictures, assuming that my dear will see them and I'd have to explain a few things. Except none of that had any chance to succeed - she was probably four years older than I, maybe more, plus not my type at all, and so she did see the pics and nothing happened.
Almost twenty years later I heard an anecdote about her, taking the car backwards from her yard in winter, looking left and right, and hitting the car behind her - someone parked right at her driveway - several times. Because she didn't look back at all, only left and right. Likewise, there was another story about two guys from opposing houses, who looked left and right, reversed and hit each other butt first.
