Probably shot next month, when I got the projector.

Had a good night's sleep. In the evening could barely wait to hear how did her exams go - not bad at all. Sociology 9, predvojnička 8, good start.

Got going to Dom, but Venac is closed, so without a word we do about face and go to Gramag. Bought some kosovo wine, then moved to Dom and watched "Notes of one Ana" by Moma Kapor. The girl who plays Ana is dry genius, and Mišelino is played by none other than Žare the soundsmith.

These days the bunch of slides we shot of her and the square from the top of Tekstil building were made.

27th with dad in Zemun.

Sunday 2nd of june, Tejka came by, probably she did too.

Next day, with dad and mom in Zemun - dad graduated. He's now a graduate cowboy. I read a lot - "Kužiš, stari moj", "Yankee on king Arthut's court". Moon eclipse.

On 4th I wanted to do more shots off the roofs of 25. maj, but when I got there I discovered that I ran out of film. The counter on the regula never worked right.

On 5th went to her, found her sunbathing in a bikini in the garden. Looks wonderful. Picked sweet cherries. Walked around her end. Chemistry exam soon.

Friday 7th, club decides to go to festival only on saturday and sunday. We also get the final verdict, Oma will not let her go with me to a vacation. Anger is of no use, we need to fight, think of something. The bitterness stays.

(this is three shots one over another: one is the roof tiles and what street lights reflects off them; the other is the view of the intersection, third is towardsšećeranadistinctively showing only Kale's aunt's gable and some red lights on the tallest part of the factory; fourth shot (forgot, saw it now) is the rotation of the starry sky. All shot from tripod, on the flat roof of the pantry in the back)

Saturday, 8th. The festival is falling apart. Melanija didn't show up, perhaps I won't be seeing her again, may be better so. Bukac came up with a girlfriend (don't remember which one, he ended up marrying the sister of D.K. from VIII2). My Kornians were run at 18 frames per second instead of 16, so some 40 seconds of music were extra.

Sunday. Dropped by her apartment to pick her stuff. Found a colleague from a Kranj kino club, who were the other party in the Unesco selection two years ago.

On the bus we finally start making a plan how to do business during the high school olympics. Two german guys just travel around and my throat goes tight. But I remember she forbid me to be bitter, so I swallow that... situational envy and move on. Visit her first, deliver her stuff. We come to the subject of travels, and I remember a guy who traveled from Germany to Zadar by a solex moped. In a few words it ends up with Oma, in authority-command tone, saying "I won't allow you to destroy my daughter". Ok so we know where we stand. So we wrote down, on a piece of paper, the names of the places to which we wanted to go - Bekeščaba, Amersfort, Kranj, Diseldorf - and chopped it into tiny pieces and spread that over their garden. Perhaps once something better will sprout from it.

We went to town. Met Eči and Živa. Went for a walk on Mala Amerika. Saw a color TV through a window somewhere, well it doesn't look bad.

(the color TVs were a kind of fancy of mine. Though we had color programming since start of 1972, it wasn't all in color and there were very few color sets. The first time I was in the same room with one was perhaps the next year, at Bukac's. I'd often stop in front of a shop and watch the one in the shop window, saw how good the image can be but also how the technology was still weak, how the colors can be disgustingly wrong if the transmission goes through too many steps, a lot can get lost. Eight mm could look better than TV at times.)

In Gramag we took the dalmatian droplet. Went under the bridge by the police HQ, because the drizzle was starting. We left a message in the bottle, with "...9. VI at 21:00, from the bridge by SUP, to honor the destruction of grand vacation plans". We let the bottle go down the river, and we went up until the hat factory, where we found a nice hidden place. The rain has stopped and the wind was weak.

Writing the diary is getting flimsier all the time. Those I wrote five weeks later.

Chemistry she had on 12th, passed the lab, failed oral. Cried all evening. (... 18 words...)

Saturday, 15th, some žiri session, again the FKS folks - Mika Putnik et al - because we set up a festival of youth sports movie for the olympics. I got a bronze for "Kayakers", fine, the camera work was neat, it does look nice, no story no idea.

Sunday 16th, general staff meeting at DC-99, the olympics be starting any day now.

In the evening in the disco she was in excellent mood first, then somewhat aggressive, then we got into a bit of a fight, then made peace somewhere on the way, she said she's in exam fever, just disregard the behavior.
