Seeing the old gang at the corner, once a week at the movies in šećerana/Kantina. We usually sit together, somewhere in the back rows, under the balcony (or on the balcony... um, not, the tickets were perhaps slightly more expensive). I reconciled with E - no, we're not a couple, but not fighting either. Once these days (perhaps last weekend... school began on 6th, so maybe the day before), we watched "Bony and Clyde", and there was more innuendo, allegedly I embraced Kale's ex. Perhaps I wished I did.

I was planning on hitting on her and thought I could have some success in about two weeks; Đica in perhaps three or four, and Oli Boj would be out of reach because she's so picky about the places where she would unfreeze (whatever I meant about that).

Had a pro forma haircut a week ago, Ivka took notice but said nothing. But the classmaster of VIII1 (then VII) noticed, and there was some altercation between them, "when are you going to make that guy of yours have a haircut?" - "when you have your Strle do it". IIRC we both had to do it. They just had to blabber... so I visited the barber again.

The trouble with barbers is that they know their job. That is they know one type of haircut that they learned how to do, and nothing else. Okay, the guys by Šanta, where dad and I went (some uncle Draga and uncle Sredoja, who later turned out to be Beštara's uncle-by-mom) knew two, the regular and tarzanka. The difference was in the nape* - regular was when they'd use the zero-mark mower, tarzan when they'd just crop around it with scissors. If I remember this right. In any other way they did the same thing every time, and whatever you say or order does not matter at all, the result is always the same as last time.

This winter jacket was still quite new, I think I got it in november or so, but didn't write about it nor found it on any older pictures. I liked how it fit snugly around me, closing the gaps around the waist and wrists. Most of other garments seem to be made for people who are a hand shorter and two hands wider - the sleeves are too short, the ends pull out of pants, there's draft around your kidneys.

The lesonit „wall“ which closes the shed is not hiding the fića this winter. We didn't even bother to clean up a path for it.

* no I won't say „of neck“ because then I'd also have to insert „one's“... too long, all because there's no word for potiljak, qv. Sorry about your language.
