More from Kosta:

On twentyfirst, the routine to recode text from codepage 852 to 1250, i.e. from easteuropean for Dos to one for Windowses, touched a bit because it would write the output file into the current directory but should have overwritten the original. Because that original was copied from somewhere for the occasion.

On twonysecond, again them workorders for Bangro, „mask for defectage, tax rates, vehicles“. What a word, defectage („defektaža“)... when mechanics mean to sound expert-like. In invoicing, the one in fox for Windowses, „Regenerating all views because of changed structure in the original (federal tax)“. Much of a federation, two members, but it provides us with three levels of tax (federal, republic, municipal)... and the need to change the code every now and then, whenever they change some rule. This was for EnergoPro, and it continued the following two days, „automatic transfer of requisitioned material from finished products into the plant reworked to be automatically called when exiting the app; minor fixes elsewhere... may it be known that I worked on a holiday“.

from the.log in dijeta:

started looking at Hossy - from Project manager.

kind of placed the pieces into their slots, the Project Manager complains of missing bitmaps only (though there are lots of misplaced files; my vpm directory is D:\vfp\vpm, and in the .pjx its d:\vpm5, also the project is now at d:\vpm\Zero\sGradlj and it was also on some other directory - should write a complete relocation routine, which should scan the .scx files and fill the proper pathnames).

re pmhctrls.vcx, class cal_daily1 method refresh

it contains a comment on lots of code used on controlling whether an object is actually released or not. I've had some e-mail discussion with James on the subject (don't know if he published the article), and I think eventually Jerbie came up with some utility code to make sure all references are gone or .null. or whatever. I don't know what he really came up with, I see he's looking for beta testers for his ObjRef. If it works, this may be cleaned up somewhat.

method num2time:

RETURN padl( alltrim(str(m.hour)), 2, "0") + ":" + padl( alltrim(str(m.minute)), 2, "0")

instead:

return tran(m.hour, "@L 99")+":"+tran(m.minute, "@L 99")

should be somewhat quicker.

The .exe almost works, except it won't let me in (not knowing any user id or pwd), and vpm won't let me in either, because it complains of lots of paths and missing pieces thereafter. I'll have to write this path rearranging routine.
