02-IX-2017.: Good fish

For the evening, we had a triper at its best. I felt that my vacation just doesn't materialize this year, we ain't goin' nowhere, so at least we could use some... hmm, there's that restaurant in the village that's allegedly frequented by the Belgrade upstarts and managerial caste, and, well, Bajlo lives in the same street, we could use him as a guide. Plus he's a night guard, so he's most probably off on some tuesday or so, we don't use up a weekend. Yeah, right, best laid plans... it'll be his place, he's still able to get good fish straight from the pond, what gets stuck in the grid.
So I first drove to pick Dragana and then we had some trouble finding the place, as he said "the only house from the main street with the upper floor". Yeah right, there were four such houses. And none with a visible number on it. And my nokla's battery died again, so... Well Dragana called him to get out.
The house is dual, in the left half his brother with family, in the right he, alone. No gate, nicely set terrace behind (connected wiht brother's, sort of partitioned), entrance from the terrace, through the kitchen, hardwood in the room... And in the bathroom there's no lavabo. Said it broke into pieces, never got around to put a new one. We washed hands over the bathtub, a bit awkward but feasible.
Later Staša joined us; Mandža was busy with a football match so he didn't. The football being in the afternoon and this in the evening didn't matter, he used up his quota for the day, had he gone out twice in the day, his missus would bitch about it. Bajlo prepared his filled carp incredibly well, never ate fish like that. I made coffee and even washed the cups and džezva. For once I didn't drink - driving the ladies and not trusting myself is IMO reason enough.
Had fun, and above all, had the first proper rain in the last two months. The draught is over.
In other news, Stanley was doing another beemer in the yard, and Anita was supervising. The best picture is when he's on his knees, rubbing some piece of inner plating (dashboard, headliner, door... whatever) and she's watching with her hands on her hips. The caption comes by itself: "you missed a spot".
