We had a plan to tear down the rear fence and make a completely new one, perhaps something transparent or with flower boxes or something low. Before we could get to that (insides of the house being a priority) we got a blackmail from the city, "fix that fence or else we'll find an expensive contractor to do it for you and send you the bill". Eh, the limitations of ownership.
So OK, we fixed it. The door was a wreck, so we went to Lowe's and bought enough 4" planks to make a new one, and a gallon of white paint, 40$ altogether. It took us all morning until about lunch, and it now looks decent. Still as rotten as it was before. Now the plans for redoing that fence are delayed indefinitely.
Nina replaced the rear lights on her SX, put the japanese round ones instead of local flats. (she bought it three days ago, her first car)
Marinko sent me more examples of trouble he gets with SQL here and there. I tried to help pointing to the spurious implicit transaction setting - why set it on in the middle of it?
Geico sent me another bill. Six months gone already, eh?
