Weekend in Klincaid, on bicycles at that. No sense to take a bus, because it's a kilometer plus of a walk change on both ends, and there's stuff to carry - she prepared a crate full of saplings, can't quite see of what. We also brought two totes of stuff, and I thought I screwed up by putting the Fujica in the tote, as the bacon wasn't properly wrapped and the grease leaked, but luckily nothing untoward happened to it. And I did pull it out several times along the way. One of advantages of a bicycle is that you can stop wherever you want, and shoot. For this shot, for example, I stopped on the bridge, the shrubs are in blossom, [it'd be] a waste not to take a shot of.

We worked on whatever we planned, the whole day, guess we still dug the canals. She spread straw on the first three rows, planted what she brought, and sowed some corn. Bobi was in the way most of the time.

The cherries are in blossom at large. We lunched what we brought, and suppered too. We stoked the smederevac, drank the beers we bought in the local shop. Didn't stop for it, it was an afterthought before supper, so I rode the bike to the shop and bought [it]. Of course, they got nothing but [that] from Apatin or Čelarevo, so I resorted to some pils plus. I expected some stupid shit, whenever there's a plus in the name you know it's some seasonal gimmick, they poked the recipe with a stick to make it different but not really better. Worse, the bottles are special, not exchangeable for any others, but that was solved by my promise to return them tomorrow. Which I did, though the shop was closed, I just inserted them into the door's box, through the outer grille, and that was it.

It's been so long since the last time we slept on an ordinary couch... Can't possibly remember what we used for cover, guess we found some blankets.

I made a lot of shots, mostly with the nokla, it's in the pocket and I can take it out whenever I whim. Maybe it's not as fast, but then there's not much action except what we perform, well she, I'm shooting.

And I didn't drop dead tired much from pedaling, I managed to keep up the tempo. Maybe we paused on every four kilometers, one of those being a smoke break. Eventually few years later, when I inheroted Lena's bike, I realized that that bike of mine [of all of mine bicycles... total of one] was stunted somewhere, the rear wheel gave some resistance, so it required some more power than a regular bike should. But still, got there and back.
