Born as a peasant's child from Užice area, finished medical high and became a sanitary inspector, so my missus found him there when she began working. He retired long ago, must be around 1997 (which I don't really remember, but it's 2025 now and he's 92 years old). Was good friends with everybody, even with Vlastimir until the latter set him up as the fall guy.
I was acquainted with his son, Jevrem, when he partnered with Mika Fišer, about that tourist guide they were supposed to set, which then came to nothing. We met later too, in one or the other company, he was our hardware supplier occasionally. We met again twentysome years later, when I stopped working, and eventually then I gathered who his father was.
The old man calls regularly, at least once a year.
