Since Miška, the previous guinea pig, had died, our dr Doolittle had to have one, so we went to a pet shop and bought Mrvica. In Office Despot (the joke wore off really fast) or maybe Staples we got this vat (not now, previously), which was intended to hold manilla folders with those spines so they'd hang inside and be easy to pull out.
It's a whole industry, these pets, there's supplies of pretty much everything - food, bedding (cedar shavings), bottle to hang with a nozzle pointing sideways down, closed with a ball, which the animal would just push with its tongue and get water... There's a bunch of people living on sales of these things.
My eyes go blurry on Napster - up to half a year ago it went so-so, I'd find someone who collects what I already have, and there I find something for myself. Now, I think the first thing that's going to die on me is the mouse wheel. Some 95% of time is wasted on scrolling over the chaff. So one of these days I quit Napster and loaded WinMX, which knows how to continue a transfer from a different source, if the first source went offline (which Napster never solved). And the plan is to switch to cable network, because the DSL's limit is 3,5 miles, which would put us a tad out of range while costing same as cable - about 40-50$ a month.
Regular dialog here: „Zeta, stop typing in that Isekyoo, and go tell her to get up, we're leaving now“. „What do you think I'm doing? I'm telling her.“
