On the job, Jerbie called a couple of times this week, seems he's joining the project. I think starting next week he'd be the project manager, or project lead, something.
Today we made another trip, this time with the corolla, to bring more things they'd need - a trashcan, a foldable table with four chairs (about 20$ altogether - worth every cent, metal tube frame), ironing iron and board, blowdryer. (... 16 words...)
Go cut her hair... which she thought was very funny. Over time she did effect a change of her own visual style, several times. Visual arts, indeed.
We also bought small AC units, those that mount in a window, one for the couple's room, the other for Nina's. The layout of the apartment is sort of funny - the entrance opens into a large, roughly 4x5, living room; to the left is the dining room (4x4) which continues into a small kitchen (less than 2x4), which has a door to the fire escape stairs (wooden). The bedrooms have separate doors - Nina's from the living room, theirs from the dining. The bathroom is between their rooms and has doors to both sides, so it's possible to just miss someone by walking in circles through the bathroom.
The place is rather dark, as all windows face the next building, which isn't too far - there's less than 3m between the facing windows.
