Whatever beard I managed to grow these weeks, just had to go, along with lots of hair - school resumes. Yesterday I went to DC-99 and arranged with Skule that he'll be the actor in "Can not". Yes, I'm doing that one.
Tejka is in heavens: Pišta ditched Slavka. Now what happens is not my concern, it's her thing. Whether she's the pet favorite in their circle there or not is, again, her thing. We (mom and I) decided that we don't need to decide whether we trust her on that one. May be true, to some extent, who cares.
Met Skule at the club in the afternoon, and shot most of the scenes - at least his part.
We changed shifts every winter break. The first semester of first grade we went to school in the morning, and the second gimnazija [went] in the afternoon. Then in february of 1971 we traded places and then we went in the afternoon until now, and now in the morning again. Just when I got used to listening to Nikola Nešković and „Musical rally*“ from 12:20 to maybe 13:00 or even 13:30. The Second programme was starting its broadcast at noon and ran until 20:00, when the same wave would be handed to the Thrid programme. While the second was mostly entertaining, the third was dead serious, all science, philosophy, economy and classical musid, even experimental radio drama. Okay, jazz too, experimental or just avantgarde.
Now how to listen to that, I'm at school during the emisija, ummm... Luckily, around that time I got my third and probably the last transistor [radio], or maybe I made enough money on photography to buy it myself, same. it was small, the speaker was crap, but it fit in a pocket and had an earphone. I ran wide sideburns, specially on the temples, so it covered my ear to an extent, enough to hide the cable, leaving my other ear available to keep track of the lecture. These wide locks on the temples were a fashion at the time, mostly among the girls with shorter hair, Rencika then and two-three girls in the class now wore it, and several guys. As per the schedule, we had biology during that, which we usually attended upstairs in Elephants' cabinet, where I'd grab a seat somewhere far. I was in the last bench anyway, but regularly in the middle; there I beelined for corners, so she can't see my ear. The professor was hefty, at least from our angle of view, we were all young pretty and thin, so we called her „herd of elephants in low sweeping flight“, which was too long for a nickname.
