A few more games of remi, mostly with just Dragana and Tejka. Her nervousness wore off on me, so while I wasn't even thinking of a suicide, I wrote a hypothetical speech instead of a suicide note, telling all the teachers where they were wrong. Where they made a crocodile out of a mosquito, where they laughed off our complaints of stress and nervousness (stress wasn't a word yet, wait). Any signs of some serious emotional life among us were taken as a joke, that can't be serious, c'mon. And we do fall in love, seriously. No sex yet, perhaps just hands finding places, that's enough but you either don't take that seriously, or take it extremely seriously just like anything that you perceive as negative behavior. We just want to be treated like normal, thinking persons.

On 20th Josipa Lisac was live on Maksimetar with a new song (which I never heard again until I found it on youtube in 2020). She wore the same dress and hair as she'll do this summer on Split festival. This is just about the last year when she appeared twice the same. I wrote about this on suština 18-I-2021. (actually 19th but this article exists)

On 25th was the municipal competition, my discipline is moviemaking (kino tehnika) as usual. Continues the next day. And while I was away, guess what: Ivka organized a dance! I was kind of tired, and didn't feel like going. The gang sent Zvojko to get records from me (some of them were his). Gave them, didn't go. Then a second messenger came, from Dimče, to tell me to come take the 8mm camera for the competition tomorrow, so I went. Some girls were already returning from the dance. One said just "where are you, they're all waiting for you". I felt rather unneeded at the time, so I didn't believe her... after composing four pages of speech-from-the-grave I really wasn't in the mood. Didn't even write down whether I met any other folks when I got there - I guess we passed each other unseen, the photo cabinet being all the way up at the end of the corridor, and the dance on the opposite end of the building. If we hadn't met in the hall, then easy not to see anyone.

The next day it was a bit tough being in both competition and organization - we had to organize the lab, in the OTO cabinet in the basement under the staff room in Zmaj. Dimče and his wife were there, probably Jablan and a few other of the school staff. We stayed late in the evening, as we had to develop perhaps six or eight spools of 2x8mm film, and with the reversing process it takes a full hour per batch, and we had perhaps two vessels.

The design was, if not by, then influenced by Slobodan Mašić. He did similar design for a couple of their singles later.

Today I was on a concert by Korni grupa. I guess it was in Hala sportova, they played "Jedna žena" in almost full length (the drums only part was skipped, though, but I'd say I heard the organ movement near the middle). The trouble with concerts there was the usual rubbish they did practically every time - they'd put the stage under the left basket, facing the center of the basketball field, while the audience was let only into the left side. Now as Bata Kovač always puts his keyboards on the left, facing the rest of the band, he had his back turned to the audience, which was awkward. But then there weren't too many lights, so he couldn't see the audience much, and the end effect was that we enjoyed the music, not the scene movements. Though it was a cool scene when they played that blues, and Dado sat on the edge of the stage, dangling feet. Relaxed somehow.
