This picture is not any part of the story. I just love the colors and how it brightens the road every may.
We finally wrapped the first five rows of the left side of the garden in Klincaid into black foil. The previous trick for lazy gardening worked well but required too much maintenance - the weeds wouldn't grow on top of the row but still grew like crazy on the paths below and between, and any number of pests would still find their way - slugs, various burrowing vermin, including frogs which would eat a whole potato from inside, while preserving its skin. So, foil. (eventually worked out right, we ended the season with almost 600kg of tomatoes). Also spread some thick foil on the floor of the future greenhouse, so I wouldn't have to mow it so often and nick the tri-blader on the iron tube arches.
Ate the first sweet cherries.
At home, the chives were in full blossom in front of the garage. Took a bunch of pics.
In the evening trimmed my beard. Screwed up by not really looking at the setting, so what I thought was 6mm was actually 3mm. Actually not bad, and will grow the difference in a couple of weeks.
