Today Nina (and Ender, to an extent) finally fixed the door to their bedroom. It was missing a knob, but that's because it couldn't close. The frame is a couple of millimeters too low on the lock side, while there's about 4mm gap on the hinge side. She took the dremel bore, put on a little cylinder with sandpaper on it, and buzzed at it all evening. Around 21:00 they went to the nearby Walmart and got a doorknob as well. After only five years, that door can close.
The frame is slanted because the whole floor sunk a bit - that's why we built that bookshelf with lots of two-by-fours on the ground floor. It supports the ceiling.
Go is in Vegas; Ricardo is probably still in Canada. She pretty much gave up on him and is in search of a new rooster.
Made a, probably first, attempt to connect the pictures directory with Byo. There's a file in it with today's date, named whatever.html, and in it it says
NAME="Generator" CONTENT="GenerAll/Sprint 5.2 aka dir2html"
Well welll... sprint.prg was the general reporting routine, which would just get any cursor and list it out in text format, with totals on numerics. The dir2html.prg was something I used around 2001, to just get the links to images in the current directory into a html file. How these two combined then was not much, but that eventually became the dcShowDay.prg, which pulls more than just pictures - code, logs, the.log files, chats, skype, UA messages (well, only the ones I wrote, up to a point), sezam messages (not all, just what we could save) etc, for any given date. Which is all to help me remember what was when, or what was, for that matter.
