The XT is here (I drove to a place near Novi Sad to get it, two days ago) and I'm playing with it. There are whole two months ahead when I need to write this app for that other stambena, a private one this time. It's a bit contradictory, the word zadruga literally means "for friend/comrade", the closest translation would be a cooperative, and yet this one is privately owned. Which is actually a novelty, SFRY is still a socialist self-managed economy with just bits of small private businesses - a barber shop, cobbler, tavern, car repair, anything one can do with no more than five workers. A homebuilders' cooperative handles a lot of clients' money, making it close to financial sector. But hey, these are the new years with this mixed economy, we'll see...
Anyway, I also got a printer, and found that this Amstrad box also has GEM, the same thing as I got on the atarist as an OS is here an exe to run and henceforth be in a graphical environment. Just like the windowses will be soon... So I played with it, made a few drawings and printed them. I put a date on one of them, which is how I know when this was.
There were other drawings, I found five only that I could scan. This one was made by Go.
Following two weeks I kept hunting Srečo Kirn of d.o.o. Grad in Ljubljana. Finally caught him and scheduled a visit on 28th. The goal of this is to scout out how a small software company works, to learn the ropes, so when we make one here, we know what to do.
