Boba called yesterday to tell us that Arpi is back at intensive care. It seems his kidneys aren't working properly, he didn't have much urine at all and yet he's all watery because his heart isn't pumping out much from his lungs. Today he called again with more details - it's not just his kidneys, it's also the liver which he systematically shot by drinking. I don't remember seeing him too drunk at all during the last two years, but there were signs that he was a bit woozy, just covering it well. There's no way they'd operate now, his heart wouldn't keep up under anaesthetics, they'd have to get him right before that. And with so many vital organs barely functioning, the chances are slim. He's back on the breather machine most of the time.

Holding our thumbs to see him off to that stay in Niška Banja.

At home, the new year spruce (the artificial one) is packed for the next year. Nina dyed her hair somewhat honey blonde. Not exactly the color she had as a kid, but close to some phase she went through when she grew into brown from blonde.

Second big snow this winter. Not much, perhaps 5cm, but white all around, 2nd day now. She went out with Violet for almost half an hour, made a nice video. And a little snowman.

A stray dog, large, white, well kept, with a tag (and probably a chip) comes to sleep in the corner of our garage, where the overgrown rosemary bush is a nice shelter.

Linda walked whole eight or nine steps, and that includes a switch from tiles to carpet.
