2nd day of the big cleanup. Two days ago the carpet cleaners came (we have no carpets, unless we count two new ones in the van, which we'll unroll tomorrow) to do the two couches, two armchairs, the big mattress in the yellow room and the seats in the saxo. They did the couches and one armchair right, but when they vanished into the other room, they were finished with surprising speed. And didn't want to do the car now, unless we have a garage, because it takes a whole night to dry, goes all moldy if it doesn't. Cost 5500 RSD and we added a 500 tip. But then we saw how they did the mattress and we got pissed off. Found the extractor on the web, ordered one, and it came yesterday. With add-ons and supplies it came to 32000 RSD, but it already paid itself off to an extent. saxo wasn't this clean in years, and seats never were. Even with some rain yesterday afternoon, it still dried properly.
Of course we stocked up on the essentials.
Today I drove the van to get the tire seen to. It's brand new, dammit, and it still loses pressure. It could be the wheel itself, though the guy at the repair just couldn't find any leaks. Just in case, he dismounted the tire, scraped the wheel (well it really wasn't smooth) and then smothered it in tire glue (which is ground tires dissolved in gasoline).
We're vacuuming, washing, moving furniture... and will continue to do so tomorrow as well. The solo bed we moved from the yellow room into the blue, and brought the parts for its twin from upstairs, and assembled it too. Bought new mattresses for these beds. So Nina with the twins will take the yellow room, the two in the blue room, and we'll sleep upstairs. The larger carpet is for the yellow room, the smaller one for the blue.
