Lena painting a turtle on the wall of place where they stayed
As Go said, "I got flying sisters". Nina and hers were en route to the Phillipines, via Istanbul (to give birth to the twins there), and Lena and Milan were returning from Sri Lanka (vacation). Some minor trouble with the flight (crowded plane until Turkey, change of plane before 2nd leg from Dubai respectively), both trips went fine. The Turks did ask for a paper from a doctor, approving of the trip, which is basically a CYA action - the guy just took a shot of the paper on his phone, returned the paper and they boarded.
The rest of the week they're all more or less jetlagged.
On eleventh I finally found a replacement for the crummy Logitech's keyboard I used meanwhile - a black one with white keys, with minimal amount of plastic in the frame. Specially liked that the keys are actually umbrellas above a narrower hole, i.e. it's not the full width of a key that sinks in, it's above the edges, which then prevents a lot of junk from falling through it. Amazingly, the trick works excellently. There are no media keys, but this is linux, the keys can be redefined inside the app, and even globally, at graphic shell level, which are active when the pludger („player“ when read in juski cyrillic, common mock-expert expression among oldwave) is in the background. It dawned on me that I'm actually using two keys - „play/pause“ and „next song“. If I ever need anything else, I can bring the pludger app up.
I'm writing this part in november of 2023 on that same keyboard. Such a longevity I found only in the Acrotech's one from 1991.
