Got tickets for concert of Jethro Tull, a week from now at Wolftrap near DC. Taking Go and she'll take Ricardo and Burt will also be there.

After five years, finally going to a concert again.

Ricardo visited today, we went downtown, Go and I, to wait for his bus. There's a nice big parking lot nearby, with not too many shops around, so it's mostly vacant, and I regularly park there when I go to the busodrome. The area is not quite flat, so the end of the lot to the main street side is dug in. On the corner above the lot there's a fish tavern, „Awful Arthur“, and you can find it by the smell. The smell is genuine, which a bunch of cats circling the area can attest. Then, come to think of it, there's a Mac right across from Zero, and theres not much of a smell coming from it. And I've never seen any cats. So... if the cats don't find anything edible, or at least interesting... Hmmm.

Then they went downtown, walked around the places they know, the creek by the old place of Zero, then downtown.

On twentysixth Rick made a farewell party in a tavern downtown. Had a few small beers, whatever they had at the time, smoking was not forbidden yet, someone had a pack of Camels. Walter came too, though as far as I remember they were never employed at the same time, but perhaps they socialized apart from work. Larry, Felix, Ted and T.H. were also there. We didn't sit much, the main event was the foosball match, they did that a lot at work. As T.H. said about Sam Underhill (absent this time), „he's so skilled, it's all in his wrist, obviously that wrist saw a lot of practice“.

Don't remember how I got there and back, perhaps he drove me.

And that was it, off he went to director at dad's factory.
