In Klincaid the cabbage and broccoli are growing nicely. The dill is growing everywhere, it's a weed.

The guy from the nearest village dismantled the old one and said it can be fixed, rewind the motor... 5000 din and the time it takes to take it to the winder, wait until he finishes... and you still end up with an old thing which may break anytime. And the pressure tank looks it's just 10 liters. The old hidropak, which made running water available to thousands of households... but it's a tad small for us, we want to water the plants.

We offered him a bottle of rakija, from the reserves we had. „I've been here before, I have installed this old hidropak... the old man had a still shop, and he'd take the patoka* from everyone's batch and then redistill that and sell as rakija. He gave me a bottle of that, and my dad was an alcos, he'd drink anything. Well he wouldn't touch the old man's rakija, he just tried it and said this is patoka's patoka, I never tasted worse shit“.

The rakija we bought with the house, on the contrary, was quite good. What old man kept for himself.

Went with Zeki to buy a new hidrofor (i.e. pump and pressure tank for water). Took the biggest they had, 1,9KW and 120l. So we bought this one, brought it to Klincaid, and then went really busy with the plants and left this to be installed later.

The next day Ratko Mladić was caught in Lazarevo. This brought me several thousands of views of my pictures on Panoramio. I guess many people wanted to see in what wolffuck wilderness he hid.

* the low alcohol, low quality brandy from the rear end of the distillation process. It's either discarded or redistilled, as it contains some oils which spoil the taste and are even somewhat harmful.
