The last batch of rakija for this year, the tutifruti 2, with mostly late apples, some plums, some vineyard peaches and half a bucket of pears. Didn't get too much of it, but it's good. The total production for this year is 115l of rakija, but actually it's 120 because we found 5l of last year's apple that we forgot to take home then. We had years when 60l was OK. True, 75 liters of this is plum (no apricot this year either, couldn't even buy it), but hey, what's wrong with plum? Nothing. There.
The sugar comes in the end - we had almost none of the batches stick and burn to the bottom, this one did, rather badly. Probably that there were enough apples and pears to have mush which would fall to the bottom, through the holes in the lower bell. Well I'll have to come back one day soon and clean it. Probably using wire brush on a drill.
She picked three crates of bell peppers. We'll have good pickles for salad this winter.
