Bought a pair of goggles and a set of precise screwdrivers. The goggles are for the chainsaw, need to cut that apricot by the pump in Klincaid, as it is dry. The screwdrivers are generally needed for various gadgets around the house, very rarely, but when I need them I need them. This time it was for the webcam I inherited from Go - the camera head is held in position by friction, and now the surfaces are rather smooth, so I want to tighten it.

In the evening I did so, but not much good came of it - the screw was already as tight as it gets. So I'm now inserting a toothpick behind to hold the head's angle.

I had more luck with the goggles, they really helped. I cut down the dead tree, and got just one nick on the top of my forehead, when I miscalculated the length of a branch. When it went down, it went the way I wanted it, but it was longer (I was in the shade of the house, and the sky above was rather bright) and it bounced off the gutter. I wore the scab for almost two weeks - the skin ain't as young. When I was a kid, the scab would fall in a week.

The tulips in the backyard have gone wild.
