Raja is still on night shift. At least now he made it together to the day shift, so now it's 8:30 and he's still running around and making game-like dialog to himself. Never gets tired. Also, at least, he's not screaming demanding this or that, just screaming of excitement at what he thinks are the point moments.

This night we heard him, because it wasn't so hot anymore, so we didn't turn on the fan in the little room upstairs where we sleep these days. Which means I woke up around 6:30, ready to yell, making lots of noise with my clogs on the stairs, saying a very loud "good morning" to the kid and then more or less giving up on anger. Still, makes me think, what kind of shock will it be when these kids, who live under practically no restraints - nothing enforced, not even potty training, brest-fed for as long as they want - meet the real world with two million laws per capita and zero tolerance policies on so many matters. I don't want to be around when that happens.

The hedgehog has joined the kittens at breakfast. Now doesn't even bother to be scared and scamper away at first sign of trouble. I made a bunch of photos. The new video camera (my first, actually - the two photo cameras that I had had low rez video with audible autofocus) arrives tomorrow. The idea is to just record what kittens are doing, it's relaxing to watch them and people generally like that. There'll be some editing, which I didn't do since late seventies - on 8mm tape. Now with it all digital, we'll see how that goes.
